This, this – a thousand times this! I’ve always been amazed over the years how many people can produce brilliant video accompanied by terrible audio. Sometimes it’s even the professionals who seem unable to manage the basics such as levels. Their videos end up littered with harsh edits, jumping levels, distracting background noise and off-mic dialogue. Everyone should learn how to make radio or podcasts before they’re let anywhere near video.

Absolutely correct, and the absolute standard audio sampling frequency for audio for video production is unquestionably 48 kHz…
