One Response

  1. I’ve actually tried the EQ Match in the Pro Q3 a couple of times. One time, in particular, I had a pretty good host recording for the episode intro but then a GARBAGE Zoom recording of the host entering just a few seconds later. This host’s Zoom recordings were usually pretty good but this one was the kind that leads to nightmares.

That said, to smooth the transition from “good” to Zoom, I used the EQ Match to help me get it dialed in faster. I didn’t use the exact curve in the end (you can probably imagine the unrealistic curve between sub-par Zoom and a good local recording) but it certainly helped me find and adjust the major problem spots more quickly.
