I really enjoyed listening to this.
I started my work life doing much the same job in Manchester, England in 1976. Straight out of school, I was working on my first day with Marc Bolan in the music studio followed by daytime sessions in the Voice Over studio recording adverts for the local radio station and sound tracks for commercials on the local TV Station etc.
I worked with many of the pop bands at the time with my first real session with a band called the Buzzcocks recording their first single ‘Boredom’. Also did a load of work with a band called Sad Cafe.
This session brought it all back to me.
Thanks to you both
Mike
