Definitely the louder voice. I might have liked even 1-2 dB more.
Clip 3 is best for hearing the host. How about taking the music down a bit and keeping the host at 0 db? Same thing perception wise? 🤷🏻♂️
Yes, the perception depends solely on the relative volume of the two elements. I could have kept the voice at the same level and then adjusted the music -2dB and +2dB 😉
I think all of them are ok, but the third one is best.
The biggest issue I had is the music is so busy. I think the guitar/snare competes with your voice more than the volume.
I definitely prefer the voice out front in the mix. The +2 dB clip was the one I liked.
