Which app do you use to tag your final episode MP3 files?
For my clients I use the very popular ID3 Editor. For my show I use Fission to create and tag my final M4A file (Yes, I publish M4A files, which btw Libsyn automatically re-encodes to MP3 for distribution to the few platforms that don’t accept M4A files).
Which app do you use? Some folks use other apps like Auphonic, Hindenburg, and more — AND SOME FOLKS don’t believe it’s necessary to tag MP3 files AT ALL (!).
Do you believe in NOT tagging MP3 files? Please share your opinion in the comments below.

Kid3 tag editor has done very well for me.
I always tag episodes: it only takes a few minutes and you *never* know if they are in fact going to be a factor at all. Having them tagged might not necessarily do anything now out in the interwebby ether, but you never know if some provider decides to actually start using them to your advantage – so why not?! I’ve heard that certain web players/plug-ins use them, but haven’t seen any in the wild. I use Auphonic because I do like to use their software on occasion.
I use Forecast to add chapters and basic tags
Adobe Audition lets you tag and embed art. I do it all in there. No need to have a 3rd party.
