    I love these catch-ups. It’s too easy to miss or forget the daily emails. Also, you add more context around each ‘goodie’ which helps understand where you are coming from.

    Re Advice on Facebook groups. Whilst you can spend time asking lots of questions about the person’s intended use of a mic or piece of kit, quite often they don’t know. If the question is a one liner, then responding with lots of questions doesn’t usually get an answer. If they searched the group first, then ‘what is a good starter mic’ or ‘how do I record remotely’ would be answered many times over without them posting. Perhaps they ask a question so they feel part of the community? In which case, as long as the answer is not ‘Blue Yeti”. any answer will do, (Perhaps)
