The Brand New Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd Gen)

The 2i2 from Focusrite has been one of the most popular interfaces for podcasters for a long time because of its high quality, simplicity and reliability.

Recently they released their 3rd generation of the 2i2.

I’ll be using it on an upcoming episode of my show.

In the meantime, check out a very good review of this interface by Bandrew Scott on his Podcastage channel.

I got one a couple of weeks ago based on your recommendation and it sounds great. Still using a Gen 1 too. New one is about half the size and with new guts. And if it’s half as reliable, it will be a great purchase!

    I’ve got a 2nd gen 2i2 and a Clarett 2Pre.

Perhaps I ought to upgrade the 2nd gen to 3rd? Would it be better than the Clarett?
